Why this standard matters

CCS2 became the dominant DC fast-charging standard in Europe through regulatory alignment (EU AFID 2014, AFIR 2023) and broad OEM adoption. The combo design extends Type 2 AC with two DC pins, enabling up to 350 kW DC charging while preserving the existing AC infrastructure. ISO 15118 compatibility enables Plug & Charge and smart charging out of the box.
